A Teacher Assistant works alongside other teachers to support all learning and development in the classroom. They undertake a range of duties and responsibilities aimed at providing support to other teachers.

Maths Teacher

Job Summary

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics to help students develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills. The teacher will create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in numeracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Mathematics according to the curriculum (e.g., British, IB, or local).
  • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools tailored to students’ learning levels.
  • Use a variety of instructional methods, including technology, to enhance student engagement and understanding.

Job Title: Afternoon Kindergarten Assistant

Position Type: Part-Time (Afternoon Shift)

Position Summary:

The Afternoon Kindergarten Assistant provides nurturing care and support to children during the afternoon and extended care hours. This role ensures a smooth transition from classroom learning to the afternoon program, fostering a safe, engaging, and creative environment for children until dismissal at 6:00 PM.

Ideal candidates bring enthusiasm for working with young learners and may have skills or interests in physical education, music, or art, which can be used to enrich the afternoon program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and actively engage children in a variety of age-appropriate activities during the afternoon and extended care period.
  • Plan or assist with creative enrichment activities such as music, art, movement, or outdoor games.
  • Support the lead teacher with transitions from academic lessons to rest, snack, and playtime.
  • Provide attentive care, ensuring each child’s safety, well-being, and emotional security.
  • Maintain a calm, welcoming, and organized environment.
  • Encourage positive social behaviour, teamwork, and kindness among students.
  • Prepare and clean up materials for afternoon projects, snacks, and play areas.

School Office Administrator

Permanent; Full time

Monday to Friday: 7.30-4.00 

Role:

The post-holder will undertake a full range of administrative duties in order to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.

The post-holder will act as first line support for the School Office, which manages pupil record keeping, school calendars, room bookings, and reprographic requests.

To do this successfully the post-holder must have proven experience in an administrative role, excellent communication skills and strong IT skills.  It is essential that the post-holder is able to work well under pressure, and able to meet deadlines, whilst retaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Duties

  • Be the first point of contact, both in person and over the phone, for parents and visitors and ensure that all interactions are warm and friendly and to a professional standard  
  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including database management, preparation of campus communications and mail distribution  
  • Provide exceptional customer service, show great attention to detail and have a continuous improvement focus  
  • To attend to back-office functions including student attendance, database management, parent communications using mail merge, ordering of classroom resources, fulfilling transport and catering requests and other functions as required. 
  • During term break – to assist with academic reports; data analysis and reporting and administrative tasks in preparation for the next term ahead. 

Skills and Experience 

  • Administrative/reception experience with exceptional customer service focus 
  • Previous experience in an educational setting will be highly regarded 
  • Highly motivated with good communication skills 
  • Intermediate to high computer skills with a willingness to learn new systems 
  • Level 1 First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis Management Certification or be prepared to obtain these 
  • Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check.
