To compare private school fees in Limassol, start with the annual tuition for your child’s class, then add registration and the services your family will use. Keep the deposit separate in your cash-flow plan if it will later be credited against tuition.

For 2026/27, Golden Oak’s published annual tuition is €6,050 for Kindergarten and €6,600 for Pre-Reception or Reception. The published fees for Grades 1–4 range from €7,100 to €7,700. This guide explains those figures and the other questions to check before committing to a school place.

Golden Oak annual school fees for 2026/27

The table below follows the school’s Financial Obligations 2026–2027 document. It is a Golden Oak example, rather than a price range for all private schools in Limassol. Ask admissions to confirm availability and the quotation for the class you need.

Programme or classAnnual tuition
Kindergarten€6,050
Pre-Reception€6,600
Reception€6,600
Grade 1€7,100
Grade 2€7,300
Grade 3€7,500
Grade 4€7,700

The document states that tuition is paid in three termly instalments. For budgeting, distinguish the total annual charge from the dates on which invoices must be paid. Dividing an annual figure by twelve can help with household saving, but it does not change the school’s payment schedule.

Kindergarten and Preschool operate from September to July, while Primary operates from September to June. That difference matters when comparing school-year costs and making plans for the remaining summer period.

Registration fees and deposits are different

The annual registration charge is €600 for new students or €500 for continuing students. The financial document says this includes the main textbooks and insurance.

For new students, the deposit is equivalent to one month’s tuition for Kindergarten or Preschool, or €1,000 for Primary. It is credited against the final invoice of the academic year under the document’s terms. It is therefore an amount to plan for upfront, rather than an extra tuition charge to count twice in the full-year budget.

For example, a new Grade 1 pupil has a published tuition-and-registration baseline of €7,700: €7,100 tuition plus €600 registration. The €1,000 deposit affects when tuition is paid. It does not turn that baseline into €8,700 if it is credited as described. Optional services would increase the total.

Ask the finance team to show the deposit and its future credit on your payment schedule. This is especially useful if your child will join partway through a year or your family’s plans may change.

Which additional costs should you budget for

The published financial document lists the following optional costs. Confirm the exact service, applicable months and price when requesting your quotation.

Optional itemPublished 2026/27 amount
Hot lunch€120–€130 per month
Extended day until 17:30€150–€200 per month
Specialist clubs€30–€80 per month per club
School trips€40 per trip, with 2–3 trips indicated per year

Transport needs a separate check. Ask about the current provider, route, eligibility, collection arrangements and quotation. Also ask which clubs or services overlap, so you do not include two charges for the same part of the day without understanding how they work.

Build a budget that matches your family

Use one row for each child and work through these four steps:

  1. Start with the correct class. Confirm the annual tuition for the intended academic year and whether the registration charge is for a new or continuing student.
  2. Add the services you need. Use the quoted price and actual number of months for meals, extended care, transport and clubs.
  3. Plan the payment dates. List the initial registration and deposit payment, then the tuition and service invoices.
  4. Read the terms alongside the figures. Check what the documents say about absences, holidays, withdrawal, cancellation and refunds before making payment.

A useful comparison should show both the full-year cost and the amount due before the first day. Two schools with similar tuition can create different cash-flow requirements.

Compare what the fee includes

Price becomes more meaningful when you connect it with the actual school day. Ask about teaching, resources, reporting, activities and the hours included in tuition. Our private-school comparison guide covers the broader questions to bring to a visit.

If you are choosing an early-years stage, review the Kindergarten and Preschool programme. For older children, use the Primary School page as the starting point for a discussion about the relevant class.

Questions parents often ask

Are school fees paid monthly

The 2026/27 financial document specifies three termly tuition instalments. Request the current invoice dates and amounts from the school.

Is the deposit an extra annual fee

It is an upfront payment that the financial document says is credited against the final invoice. Keep it visible in your cash-flow plan and check the applicable conditions, rather than adding it again as a separate full-year cost.

Are meals and extended hours included in tuition

The financial document lists them as optional additional costs. Ask for a quotation showing the particular services your child would use.
