Before applying to Golden Oak Private School in Limassol, gather your child’s details, parent or guardian contact information, and copies of the child’s birth certificate and passport. Review the school documents, then use the official application form. Admissions can help with questions about the appropriate Kindergarten, Preschool or Primary stage before you complete it.

This checklist is for families preparing an application, rather than a guarantee of acceptance or a place in a particular class. It follows the information requested on Golden Oak’s admissions page and application materials, with the published 2026/27 financial schedule as the basis for the fee reminders below.

1. Start with the child, not only a year-group label

Have your child’s full name, date of birth, current school or setting, and preferred entry year ready. When contacting admissions, also explain your intended start date and the class your child currently attends. This gives the team a useful starting point for discussing placement.

Golden Oak’s Early Years programme lists Kindergarten for ages 3–4, Pre-Reception for ages 4–5 and Reception for ages 5–6. The Primary School overview describes Years 1–6. Confirm the appropriate class and availability for the intended intake rather than assuming the overview establishes an available place.

For a transfer from another school system, explain the current programme and teaching language. A familiar class name does not always mean the same age or learning stage. Admissions can tell you what further information is needed for your child’s situation.

2. Prepare accurate parent and guardian details

The application materials request parent or guardian names, relationship to the child, home address, occupation and contact information. They also ask for the main email used for school communication and a local or WhatsApp phone number. Provide second-parent or guardian information where applicable, following the form’s options.

Check that the chosen email address is one you monitor and that names and contact numbers are entered consistently. This is a practical preparation step: the school needs a reliable route for application questions and later communication.

Where family circumstances require an explanation, use the relevant form fields or discuss the situation privately with admissions. Do not place personal documents or sensitive details in public website comments.

3. Have the requested documents ready

The Golden Oak admissions page specifically asks families to prepare copies of the child’s birth certificate and passport. It also explains that additional supporting documents may be requested where applicable.

Use clear, complete copies and check that the details match the application. Follow the accepted upload formats and instructions displayed in the live form. A document checklist cannot account for every family’s circumstances, so ask admissions about anything that is unavailable or unclear rather than substituting an unrelated file.

Share any relevant educational or support requirements through the school’s requested process. Golden Oak’s Learning Support information makes clear that support depends on assessment, suitability and availability. Early discussion is more useful than assuming a particular arrangement can be provided.

4. Read the school documents alongside the fees

The application materials direct parents to the annual fee schedule, financial obligations, terms and conditions, Parent Handbook and school calendar. These documents answer different questions: what the school costs, what the agreement requires, and how the school day and year operate.

For 2026/27, the financial document lists an annual registration fee of €600 for new students and €500 for continuing students, including the main textbooks and insurance. Tuition is separate and paid in three termly instalments. Use the Golden Oak fees guide to understand the published class-by-class figures.

A new-student deposit is also required under the document: one month’s tuition for Kindergarten or Preschool, or €1,000 for Primary. It is credited against the final invoice of the academic year under the stated terms. Keep that payment visible in your initial budget without counting it twice as an extra annual tuition charge.

Read the payment, withdrawal and refund provisions before making a commitment. Request a written quotation for your child’s class and chosen services, and ask the school to clarify anything you do not understand. This checklist summarises preparation; the applicable school documents contain the full terms.

5. Confirm the practical arrangements you will rely on

Kindergarten and Preschool have a published standard day of 07:30–16:30, September to July. Primary’s standard day is 07:30–15:30, September to June. Meals, specialist clubs and extended provision are listed as optional additional services in the 2026/27 financial information.

Before applying on the assumption that a particular service is available, confirm it with the school. Explain any essential arrival, collection, meal or transport requirements. Families with siblings should check the arrangements for each child, since their standard finish times may differ.

6. Complete and review the official application

The admissions page presents the application in five sections and offers Save & Continue Later for families who need a break. Use the live form’s instructions, review the information before submitting and retain the confirmation or correspondence you receive.

An application submission is not the same as an offer or confirmed enrolment. Follow the next steps communicated by admissions. If you need clarification or are unsure whether a submission was received, use the school’s contact details rather than repeatedly creating applications.

Application questions parents often ask

Can we ask about a class before applying?

Yes. Contact admissions with your child’s date of birth, current stage and intended start date. The team can explain the appropriate next step and the availability to check.

Does completing the form secure a place?

Do not treat a submitted form as confirmed enrolment. Wait for the school’s admissions communication and complete the requirements it specifies for your child.

Can we apply for Secondary School now?

Golden Oak’s Secondary School is planned for September 2029 and is not currently open. Contact the school about future plans separately from current Kindergarten, Preschool and Primary applications.
